Pastor Wayne and Margaret Holcomb

Pastor Wayne and Margaret Holcomb

Pastor Wayne Holcomb and his wife, Margaret, are the Senior Pastors of The Door Fellowship Church, a Full Gospel Church that was birthed, during the Jesus Movement, in 1969. The Door Fellowship, which began as a small Bible study with a few "Hippies", is now a thriving congregation of believers.

The Lord raised up this couple as a mighty team and together they have been faithful to build a strong and dynamic local church. Dedicated to the teaching of God's word, their vision is to see the kingdom of God established in the earth, through God's people coming to full maturity, displaying God's glory as He intended. They also are used to encourage the people of God to begin using every believer's greatest weapon, prayer. Pastors Wayne and Margaret believe, "the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much" (James 5:16) meaning - much is accomplished when we pray.

In response to the call of God, they also oversee several other works that have been sent out from their assembly, two of which are overseas. The Lord is continuing to use them as a true father and mother in the faith, reaching, raising and releasing people into the purposes of God.

Pastor Wayne has authored several teaching manuals in his over 40 years of ministry. His training material, translated in several languages, is relied on for instruction by many in different parts of the world. His materials deal with topics that range anywhere from church government and leadership, to marriages and relationships. He is probably best known for his manuals on the subjects of "Kingdom Principles" and "The Art of Marriage"

Pastors Wayne and Margaret have four grown children, all of which are married, and in the ministry. Their son Matthew is here ministering with them on staff, their son Michael and his wife are pioneering a local church in Portland, Oregon, and their son Mark is working with Every Home for Christ in Kansas City, Kansas. The Pastors are also proud grandparents of a number of grandchildren and a great grandchild.
